~ Around Thurso ~

Thurso is the ideal base from which to discover the North Coast of Scotland and the Orkney Islands. We have amazing sunsets, excellent surf, three great golf courses, a sixteenth century castle and if you are a runner or a cyclist, some great routes with fabulous views. Raymond and Carol have lived in Thurso for most of their lives, so are happy to advise on all the local sights and activities not to be missed!
View from Thurso East

Enjoy our "Discover Caithness" pack which gives a detailed description of sights not to miss in the county and a map to use during your stay with us. The tour will take you anything from a day to two days, depending how long you spend in each area, but you are never more than half an hour's drive away from Pennyland House
